The EU aims for carbon-neutrality by 2050, posing a significant challenge for resource and energy-intensive industries like steel and aluminum production. Three EU-funded projects – INITIATE, RETROFEED, and REVamp – will present solutions for a greener and more circular metal-making industry in an online workshop on September 26, 2023. The workshop includes presentations and a panel discussion on sector synergies and technology uptake.
