DESCRIPTION:Date: 7th February 2022 10:00 – 11.30 AM \nDecarbonisation of Energy Intensive Industries through renewables. \n  \nThe online webinar will focus on decarbonisation of the Energy Intensive Industries through renewables as one of the possible pathways for energy transition. An inter sectoral perspective on potential solutions for the energy transition from steel\, aluminium and chemicalsindustries will be presented followed by the RE4Industry Project existing achievements\, with an interactive tool providing information on the carbon emissions of a specific installation among others. \n  \nRegistration link \n  \nBy registering\, I give my consent to the members of the RE4Industry Consortium Partners (organizers)  to use my personal data for the purpose of organization of the webinar according to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 04/05/2016. The event could be filmed and photographed. The video and images will be published on the Project Website and Social Media of the organizers  in order to contribute to the dissemination of the RE4Industry Project. SUMMARY:Disruptive bioenergy technologies: delivering decarbonisation of industrial processes
DESCRIPTION:Bioenergy plays a key role in decarbonisation and straddles multiple industrial ecosystems. Innovative bioenergy use\, coupled with digitalisation\, facilitates the decarbonisation of a wide range of industrial sectors including steel\, pulp and paper\, cement\, and beverages highlighting the mutually reinforcing nature of the twin transitions. \nUnder EU Industry Weeks\, the event will allow the participants to discover the innovations taking place within the bioenergy industry. The event will summarise the experiences in different industrial sectors across the EU in utilising digitalisation for decarbonisation and will bring together speakers from the industry\, academia\, and national authorities. \nFind out more on the website.
